Rooftop Flow Control (RFC) - Battery/Solar Power
APPLICATION
Rooftop Flow Control (RFC) is integrated into the Sustainablu BluSmart rooftop detention system (https://sustainablu.us/blu-smart/) . The Rooftop Flow Control system uses P4 LIQUA-Level, P4 Rain-mX, and P4 Real-Time Flow control systems. P4 Leak Detection Systems can also be integrated as an option.
Rooftop detention systems for stormwater management are built using an aggregation of four roof-drain components: an all-climate master valve; a warm-climate master valve (where appropriate); a water-level sensor valve; and a satellite valve. Each of these components integrate P4 digitalization systems. Each of these use real-time-control (RTC) to control stormwater accumulation on, and discharge from, the roof of building systems.
The application of rooftop detention depends upon a lot of factors. Sustainablu's BluSmart system can be applied in more scenarios than one might imagine. Rooftop detention is also a valuable tool in the stormwater manager's toolbox when site conditions demand innovative approaches to site stormwater management.
